1958 – Mikrokosmos

#1 – Spring 1958 – (March 21) – 6”x9”, printed in burnt brown ink on textured buff paper, center ilustrations printed on slick paper. 28 pp.

What we had failed to accomplish in 1952 with Provincial Review, Corban LePell was successful in doing in 1958 with Mikrokosmos: publishing a University sponsored literary magazine. Joan O’Bryant of the faculty once again was involved, but this time so was Richard Kennedy of the English Department and Jim Sours of the Administration.

At the time, Corban, who was the Editor, was a graduate student at WU, having moved back to Wichita after doing his undergraduate work at Nebraska University.

Mikrokosmos is still being published forty-three years later.
